How the Coaching Program Works:
Three sessions / 7-10 days apart
Each session is about 90 minutes. Participant brings scenario for a typical situation to be addressed. Steve discusses requirements and needs while participant presents a situation with Steve as audience or client. Situation is videoed, video is played back, and Steve evaluates and gives feedback. Participant does exercises Steve furnishes to improve in areas needed. Additional videoing is done as needed. Assignment is given for next session. In the last session, an action plan is determined.
Steve has found that the 90-minute sessions with intervening days is best for optimum development, giving the client a chance to assimilate the material and practice what has been learned. This also gives an opportunity at the beginning of sessions two and three to share with Steve how the targeted behavior is changing.
For the first session, the participant brings either a scenario for the one-on-one situation being addressed or 10-15 minutes of a typical presentation that he/she would like to improve.
Steve will video the participant and they will go over the video together, as well as his giving it to the participant to view independently. Together they will discuss and analyze ways to improve the presentation. Each session will include assignments for the next session.
